About Christina Ferrin

In September 2006, Christina Ferrin decided to further her education and spent about a year and a half studying with the New York Institute of Photography, covering aspects of photography which included portrait, product, fashion, architecture, and photojournalism.

Now she is primarily a stock photographer as it allows her to shoot a wide range of subjects, but she also enjoys working on fine-art images, too—playing with light, shadow and tone. She is self-taught in Photoshop CS3 and has been using it lately to explore the combination of graphic-art elements with photography. She embraces a philosophy of being limited only by her own creativity.

Christina is currently a member of the Merrimack Valley Camera Club and the Tewksbury Community of Artists and has been placing in local art shows since 2007.
